For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Sauce:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5–6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Prepare Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
Dredge: In one bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In another, mix panko, parmesan, and seasonings. Dip chicken into egg wash, then into breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to coat.
