Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Light, crispy, and sweetly spiced, these Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are the perfect healthier snack! Made with just a handful of ingredients and ready in under 20 minutes, they’re naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and full of cozy flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large ripe but firm bananas

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (or avocado oil)

  • 1½ tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about ⅛ inch thick).

  2. Toss the banana slices gently with melted coconut oil in a large bowl.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half over the bananas and toss again.

  4. Arrange banana slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket (use parchment liners if you like!).

  5. Air fry at 330°F (165°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Watch closely near the end!

  6. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar over the chips immediately after air frying.

  7. Let the chips cool completely—they’ll crisp up even more as they cool! Enjoy!

Notes

  • Choose ripe but firm bananas for the best texture. Overripe bananas can turn mushy.

  • For a sugar-free version, skip the sugar or use a monk fruit sweetener!

  • Adjust the cinnamon level to your liking—you can even add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom for extra warmth.

  • Every air fryer is a little different, so keep a close eye during the last few minutes to prevent burning!
