Light, crispy, and sweetly spiced, these Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are the perfect healthier snack! Made with just a handful of ingredients and ready in under 20 minutes, they’re naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and full of cozy flavor.
2 large ripe but firm bananas
1 tablespoon coconut oil (or avocado oil)
1½ tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional: pinch of salt
Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about ⅛ inch thick).
Toss the banana slices gently with melted coconut oil in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half over the bananas and toss again.
Arrange banana slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket (use parchment liners if you like!).
Air fry at 330°F (165°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Watch closely near the end!
Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar over the chips immediately after air frying.
Let the chips cool completely—they’ll crisp up even more as they cool! Enjoy!
Choose ripe but firm bananas for the best texture. Overripe bananas can turn mushy.
For a sugar-free version, skip the sugar or use a monk fruit sweetener!
Adjust the cinnamon level to your liking—you can even add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom for extra warmth.
Every air fryer is a little different, so keep a close eye during the last few minutes to prevent burning!
